Urban Pubs & Bars kicked off 2025 with ambitious plans for further expansion. The London-based enterprise, renowned for its Salt Yard restaurant brand and a diverse portfolio of pubs and bars including Nest Bishopsgate, The Wheatsheaf in Tooting, The Gatehouse in Highgate, Bat & Ball in Stratford, George & Dragon in Wanstead, and The Wren Tavern in Bank, has been steadily growing since its founding in 2014 by Nick Pring and Malcolm Heap.
Following the recent acquisition of four new sites from Albion & East - Serata Hall, Botanica Hall, Teatro Hall, and Canova Hall - Urban Pubs & Bars now operates 60 venues across London. The company continues to seek exciting new opportunities to expand its presence and bring vibrant hospitality experiences to even more locations.
The company’s focus remains on preserving the unique character
of each venue, perfecting the drinks offering, and tailoring menus
to the local area. With a strong commitment to the communities it
serves, Urban Pubs & Bars continues to create welcoming spaces
where local people can eat, drink, and socialise.
